SCADshow

The state-of-the-art SCADshow theater is SCAD Atlanta's home for festivals, screenings, stage productions, and more. Located on the ground floor of the FORTY FIVE residential complex, SCADshow houses two theater spaces, a 700-seat mainstage and an intimate 150-seat black box theater. SCADshow is complemented by SCAD COURT, an outdoor performance space in the FORTY FIVE courtyard. The theater retains the name of SCAD Atlanta's original theater, which operated in the former Academy Theater on 14th Street from 2013 to 2020. SCADshow is the host of annual SCAD signature events SCAD AnimationFest, a celebration of animation, gaming, and other digital media held in September, and SCAD TVfest, which spotlights the best of TV and streaming each February. In addition to these festivals, SCADshow presents special film screenings, stage productions, and other live events throughout the year.
