Hamilton Hall

Amid the historic seaport buildings overlooking the Savannah River, you’ll find Hamilton Hall, the university’s original film and sound facility. Minimally ornamented and functionally designed, Hamilton Hall originally provided space for a secondary power station and warehouse. Today, this 49,373-square-foot facility includes classrooms and studio space, a professionally equipped sound recording studio and control room, Foley and automated dialog recording stage, music recording studio, a film screening room with surround-sound mixing, and postproduction suites equipped with Avid Pro Tools and Media Composer. Hamilton Hall’s postproduction facilities and screening rooms expand to the adjacent Adler Hall and together the two buildings are known as Indian Street Studios.
