Soon after joining the Colorado Springs police force as its first African-American detective, Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) endeavors to infiltrate one of the most notorious racial groups in the country: the Ku Klux Klan. With the help of his white colleague, Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver), and a little voice acting, Stallworth is able to establish a relationship with Klan Grand Wizard David Duke (Topher Grace) and uncover a more sinister local plot at hand.

Adapted by director, writer, and producer Spike Lee from the real-life Stallworth's book of a similar name, BlacKkKlansman earned the visionary Lee his first Academy Award win, earning the 2018 Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay. Set in the early 1970s, the film remains just as relevant in today's contemporary context.

The film will be preceded by a conversation with special guests to be announced. Tickets for the film are free for SCAD Card holders and $10 for the general public.
