Samantha Tams is co-founder of Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS) and TRIBU by LAFS, two fashion platforms with the mission of enriching and elevating Latin American fashion, beauty, and design industries by making them relevant in the global landscape. In 2018, Tams founded LAFS with her business partner Estefania Lacay after noticing how few opportunities there were for Latinx fashion and beauty professionals in a region receiving growing international interest. LAFS has disrupted the Latin American fashion industry, making it more relevant than ever while empowering and building a strong community. Tams will discuss how she channeled her passion for fashion into a project that has changed the world and share insight on establishing your own brand.
