In this workshop, students will learn about three prominent true crime graphic novels. Dr. Murley will conduct an analysis of the three texts and lead an interactive discussion about the ethics of true crime in the graphic novel format and the narrative structures of these works. True crime is an important pop culture genre, and students will also learn about its impact, reach, and audience.
