Join a chat presented by Phaidon Press and Kering global luxury group with Utharaa Zacharias (M.A., furniture design, 2017), a SCAD alum and furniture designer featured in the new Phaidon publication Woman Made: Great Women Designers. The book, written by Jane Hall, celebrates the most impactful design ever produced and features more than 200 designers from more than 50 countries.

SCAD furniture design professor Sheila Edwards will moderate the discussion as Zacharias highlights her career trajectory and design collaborations, which led to the development of her furniture design brand soft-geometry, which she founded with fellow SCAD grad Palaash Chaudhary (M.A., industrial design, 2017).

This event is free and open to all SCAD card holders. No registration is required. A scholarship for women designers will be announced at this event.
