Get a glimpse at how texture and technology collide in a dazzling display of light, shadow, and emotion in The Calmness of Cognition, a visual presentation by artist and SCAD alum Acquille Dunkley (B.F.A., photography, 2018).
Fresh from high school, Jamaican-born photographer Acquille Dunkley, also known as A.Dunkley, represented America in the first-ever Adobe Certified Associate World Championship in Photoshop where he placed among the top 20 creators. Dunkley nurtured his flair for lighting and compelling imagery at SCAD where he studied photography, taught himself 3D art, managed an art gallery, and served as both a student fashion photographer and photo editor. Dunkley currently lives in Los Angeles where he has contributed to campaigns for media moguls Disney, Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV, among others.
This event is free and open to SCAD students and alumni. Masks are required during the artist talk.
