SketchX23 Make Your sketches Known! features undergraduates' sketchbooks.

All SCAD undergrads, from all majors can enter.

Sketchbooks embody every aspect of design and artistic creativity— ideation/ R&D sketching, media exploration, concept development, journaling, diaries, etc. They support ongoing practice, conveying commitment, developing style, vision, and brand. Using sketchbooks supports academic achievement in all majors and minors. Sketchbook portfolios support job applicants in all professional design careers. 

Juried cash prizes are in several categories:

• Best of Show $350

• Best presentation of physical environment $200

• Best preparatory and ideation $200

• Best exploration/ investigation/ experimentation into media and techniques $200

• SCAD Drawing Minor student 2023 Sketchbook Award $200

• Five $50 Honorable mentions for each award category
