Esteemed photographer and author Dan Winters began his career as a photojournalist in California. Winters has earned several regional, national, and international awards, including recognitions from American Photography, Communication Arts, The Art Directors Club of New York, Life magazine, and more. Known for the broad range of subject matter he interprets, Winters is widely recognized for his unusual celebrity portraiture, his scientific photography, photo illustrations, drawings, and photojournalistic stories. He has had multiple solo exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, and Savannah, Ga. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, among others. His impressive list of clients includes Esquire, Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Smithsonian Magazine, Apple, Netflix, Microsoft, Nike, Target and more.
