Take a trip through the thriving entertainment industry in Atlanta at this in-depth conversation with award-winning filmmaker Paula Wood (B.F.A., film and television, 2008) and talent manager and producer Jermaine Johnson of 3Arts Entertainment.

Based in Washington, D.C., Paula Wood merges her knack for compelling stories with her entrepreneurial know-how to bring superb entertainment to large and small screens alike. Wood worked in development at 20th Century Fox, produced reality television pilots, developed commercials, and is now the CEO and principal creative director at her own marketing firm. A Producers Guild of America Diversity Fellow, Wood is currently producing her first major motion picture Blind Courage, which won the pitch competition at the American Film Market.

With more than 10 years in the entertainment industry, Jermaine Johnson's client base spans from Los Angeles to New York and includes Emmy Award-winner Cord Jefferson (Watchmen), Azie Dungey (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Justin Hillian (The Chi), and Attica Locke (Little Fires Everywhere; author of Bluebird, Bluebird), among others. Johnson was named one of the Hollywood Reporter's "Next Gen 2020: 35 Under 35," and is currently an executive producer on the upcoming Netflix romantic drama From Scratch, based on the best-selling memoir by Tembi Locke.
