Learn how to use drawing skills and note taking in your sketchbook for understanding architecture and urbanism as history. Emphasis will be on integrating notes with quick sketches, diagrams, plans and sections, to keep pace with a lecture or a field study. Beginning in the SCAD Museum courtyard, the workshop will visit different sites in downtown to practice on a number of urban contexts and buildings.
