Doric, Ionic and Corinthian columns are not merely vestiges of the ancient Greek world, they are part of a living language of architecture that has been used continuously by architects and builders for more than two and half millennia. In this workshop students will learn how to read and understand the classical language of architecture by examining a few of the many remarkable classical buildings that can be found in the heart of Savannah. Please meet at Jen Library by 12:50 before departing for Johnson Square.
