Add to calendar

Savannah’s Forsyth Park, established in 1851 as Forsyth Place, was one of the first municipal parks in America.  Combining a picturesque landscape with military parade grounds, the park has served a wide variety of functions throughout its history.  The addition of notable design elements, like the celebrated cast iron fountain and diverse monuments (including Egyptian sphinxes, now lost) have reshaped the park’s complex cultural meanings. **Meet at Gaston and Bull Streets by the Marine Corp Monument
