About this Event
Fashion industry veteran Faith Thornburg (B.F.A., fashion, 2011) shares her design process from concept to final form and offers insight on starting your own line, working with vendors, and scaling your brand.
After graduating from SCAD, Thornburg showed her debut collection at New York Fashion Week and received the ELLE Magazine Fashion NEXT Award, including a $25,000 grant, which she used to found her bridal wear brand. In 2017, she transitioned to the business side of the fashion industry, growing her skill set in merchandising and marketing and honing her vision for a new venture.
In 2019, Thornburg returned to design with her womenswear brand S'edge, a line of high-quality knits that has grown to retail in 300 specialty boutiques across the U.S. She has been featured in ELLE, Garden & Gun, and Southern Living Weddings, among other publications.
