When you walk on your first professional film set, or when you have a budget and you want to create one, you need to know exactly what do to on Day 1 of Shooting. What is the protocol and order of business? What must be prepared and covered. Who does what? How do you get from call time to Block, Light, Shoot to in-the-can? We will prepare, assign roles, and create a true day of shooting on a professional indie film set. Required materials: Before the day you must be committed, receive the call sheet, get an assigned role and bring gaff tape, sharpie, work gloves and the day's shot list.
