About this Event
From editorial and fashion photography to projects that amplify the experiences of Black America, Justin French’s work blurs the lines between documentary and fantasy. The artist joins Joël Díaz, director of the SCAD Museum of Art’s Evans Center for African American Studies, in a conversation on process, experimentation, and originating your own visual language.
French’s photography has been featured in prestigious publications like British Vogue and The New York Times Magazine, and exhibited in major museums and galleries including MoMA PS1. Follow @frenchgold on Instagram.
