This workshop aims to explore many issues in contemporary Anthropological research: issues of authenticity, ownership of culture and cultural things, as well as the interaction between narratives of things and their material properties. It also addresses and aims to critically examine the preservation and possession of cultural heritage and the general notion of cultural consumption.
