Gilbert is co-founder and president of BRON Media Corp., founded in 2010 with her husband Aaron L. Gilbert. In her position, she weighs in on policymaking, strategic corporate planning, hiring of key executives, and the ongoing refinement of BRON’s corporate vision. BRON Media Corp. champions countless creatives that are shining light on culturally and socially relevant topics, providing opportunities for women, and celebrating diverse storytelling.

Gilbert's current focus is BRON Life, the company’s non-scripted division. Her recent projects include Loudmouth, a documentary on the Rev. Al Sharpton, and Reggie, a documentary on Major League Baseball Hall of Famer, five-time World Series champ, and 14-time All Star Reggie Jackson and how he challenged the racial divide in baseball during the 1970s and 1980s. Before focusing on BRON Life, Gilbert was president of the company's animation sector, where she produced the original animated films Henchmen (Cartoon Network) and The Willoughbys (Netflix). Additionally, she has been executive producer on historical and thought-provoking films such as The Red Sea Diving Resort (Netflix), The Birth of a Nation, and The Survivor.
