An internationally renowned designer and gerontologist, Patricia Moore, Ph.D., is a leading authority on consumer lifespan behaviors and requirements. She is known for an exceptional four-year empathy experiment where she traveled through the U.S. and Canada disguised as a woman of more than 80 years of age to better understand the challenges elderly people may face, particularly when it comes to interacting with design. Selected as one of The 40 Most Socially Conscious Designers in the world by ID magazine, Moore is a Cooper Hewitt Design Award winner and leader in communication design, product design, service design, UX design, and more. Moore's clients include AT&T, Citibank, NASA, Pfizer, 3M, Toyota, among others. Log in to this episode of Guests and Gusto to hear about Moore's research and her broad range of design experience.
